Point of View Media and Punch Drunk Cabaret win an Edmonton Music Award!

Yes, this blog is a while in coming! Yes, the 2017 Edmonton Music Awards were back in June of 2017. But I just got so darn excited about the win that I forgot to blog about it until now!

Also, I welcomed my first child into the world back in January, so that has kinda been my focus for the last few months!

Anyway, the video that Point of View Media produced for Punch Drunk Cabaret did in fact win Music Video of the Year at the 2017 Edmonton Music Awards. This is a huge honour for PDC and for myself. The Edmonton music scene is so chock-full of talent that we never would have expected this kind of recognition for our little video. We shot the video over two days (one of which was very hot!), with a crew of 3 and the band. It was a small, but fun shoot and I have to admit that I am quite proud of the results! This video is one of 4 that I have directed for Punch Drunk Cabaret and we are now in talks to do a 5th that will be out later this spring! I always enjoy working with Bandmeister Randy B as he is a creative force to be reckoned with! I have to admit that all of the videos are his concepts - he just trusts me to bring them to life on screen.

I will keep you all posted of the progress on the new video! In the meantime, I will continue producing engaging and effective corporate videos for the fantastic clients that I have the pleasure of working with on a day to day basis.
